    Class HeapChunkDigestError

    A chunk whose stored bytes disagree with its stored digest.

    bytesWritten says what the caller owes: on the first chunk the heap is untouched (boot from the pack); at chunk N the heap has the right length and wrong bytes and must be dropped.
